My Favourite School Dinners
Welcome to my new blog, i will be posting recipes and information on school Dinners from yesteryear, i always had a sweet tooth so expect alot of puddings! I will also post tips on where to obtain sweets that you used to get from the tuck shop. I will start by posting one of my favourite deserts, which we had just once a month at school, i hope you enjoy making it as much as i have The Gypsy Tart!

I loved school dinners too. Choc spomge with choc sauce was nice and choc sauce with pear halves!
Gipsy tart was THE BEST. Kids these days don't have a clue what they're missing. I loved my school dinners in 1970s, sausage and mash, egg flan, lemon curd sponge, meringues with chewy centre and all crystally on top
